The Beach Boys Brian Wilson signed Pet Sounds LP vinyl album

About this piece: Beach Boy's principal songwriter Brian Wilson is one of the greatest legends in Rock n Roll history. A consummate songwriter and interesting character, the New York Times once referred to Brian Wilson as the "modern day Mozart." Like Mozart, Brian Wilson's genius has come with a cost of mental anguish and torment, factors which have made Brian quite reclusive for the majority of the last 30 years.
Until recently, Brian was rarely seen in public, which made his signature extremely hard to attain. The Signature Library's Bryan Ulrich was present at the Beach Boy's 1997 Rock n' Roll induction weekend where Brian made a very rare public appearance. Brian and Bryan met up at Brian's hotel in Cleveland. Since that first meeting, Bryan has cultivated a relationship with Brian Wilson, which included meeting Brian on a weekly basis for almost 5 years in Los Angeles.
Respecting Brian Wilson's privacy and his access to such a great legend, Bryan was very careful not to abuse their relationship. Bryan has been able to acquire some of the most beautiful and unique Brian Wilson signature pieces over that span. From guitars with lyrics added by Brian, to several albums, including the historic and epic "Pet Sounds." Bryan was able to take several pictures of Brian Wilson signing various items as well as spending quality time with Brian backstage at the 20th anniversary of Neil Young's "Bridge School Benefit Concert" in San Francisco.
